“Edge of Darkness” & “Gods and Goddess” – two more campaigns on their way to Backers!

Canada is celebrating Victoria Day today – the perfect opportunity to tell you more about the two campaigns that we completed last week !

Edge of Darkness by AEG

This campaign quickly exceeded the initial goal of $50,000 ! Indeed, a total of 5,284 Backers pledged a total amount of $636,384!

Edge of Darkness is the third Card Crafting Game from Alderac Entertainment Group designed by John D. Clair. Edge of Darkness combines Card Crafting, Worker Placement, shared deck-building, and a whole new Threat Challenge system in a medium-weight euro-style board game of 60 to 120 minutes for 1 to 4 players.

Players are the heads of powerful guilds in the City. Each Guild vies with the others to become the leaders of the City in a desperate struggle against great evil. But the Guilds must also work together because the dangers facing the city can harm them all.

Gods and Goddesses: Redux by Jetpack7

This campaign exceeded the initial goal of $8,000 ! Indeed, a total of 653 Backers pledged a total amount of $21,399!

Packed full of content, Gods and Goddesses: Redux is an excellent resource for world building. It is a treasure trove of of 35+ player options and spells, intriguing mini-adventures to add to your campaigns, and an all around “divine” book to add to your collection of 5th Edition supplements! Oh, and it has great art. Did we say great art?

“Half Truth” and “Oceans” – two more Kickstarter campaigns on their way to Backers !

This week, we have been relentlessly working on shipping two more Kickstarters campaigns ! Learn more about those below !

Half Truth by Richard Garfield

This campaign quickly exceeded the initial goal of $10,000 ! Indeed, a total of 8,885 Backers pledged a total amount of $327,621 ! What a success story!

Half Truth is a party game for all ages and people, created by legendary game designer Richard Garfield and 74-time Jeopardy winner Ken Jennings. With art by well-known artist Ian O’Toole, the game comes with 500 trivia question cards and each card has a category on it, like “Animals with blue tongues.” There are six possible answers, three right and three wrong, and players have to place bets on answers they believe are correct. Players are usually surprised by how well they do. We’re all smarter than we think.

Oceans by North Star Games

This campaign is another success story! And we understand why ! Look at this design! Initial goal $20,000 ! A total of 12,012 Backers pledged a total amount of $766,085 !

Oceans is a 2-4 player strategy game in the Evolution game series where you create a vibrant web of marine life through millions of years of evolution. Whatever version of Oceans you pledge for, it will automatically come with a 5-6 player expansion.

The Evolution games are known for vivid themes, easy rules, and hidden depth. With many thousands of play-tests, years of non-stop design, over 100 unique illustrations, and more content than we’ve ever put into a game before, Oceans is our most ambitious project to date.
